Abstract:
"Macro-projects are invariably described with superlatives--the prefix macro is a superlative. Macro-projects are planned and constructed by usable facts about the Universe found by human discoveries, abstractions and accumulations of knowledge. Scholarship is lifting Homo sapiens off our home planet and propelling selected persons out into the Universe. However, as we move beyond our Earth, our species enters a spatial environment that inhibits, almost negates human autonomy altogether. Only by terraforming additional worlds, such as Mars, can Homo sapiens spatially shift our species autonomy! Cathcart provides unique perspectives and conclusions about the absolute need for unrelenting technological R&D and future movements by humans within the known Universe."
