Sean Anthony Florida was born in Okinawa, Japan in the late 1950’s. His parents were, at the time, commissioned in the U.S. Air Force. They had since moved into the international private business sector. Having a paternal grandmother whose family came from Spain, he was exposed to the Spanish language and Latin culture at an early age. After having virtually grown up in Argentina, Peru, and Mexico, he returned to the United States and earned a B.A. from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. He has since become a public school teacher with credentials in both California and Florida where he has, among other assignments, worked as a full time Spanish teacher. He spends much of his time traveling and is also a Tennis Pro.
