Dan Ferentinos was born to Greek immigrant parents during the depression years in New York City. His early years were spent on the west side of Manhattan and then Brooklyn. He served on active duty in the Navy during the Korean War. His career started first in engineering, and then he moved into the insurance business. He is married with three children, and five grandchildren and enjoying retirement living in Virginia. Dan holds both a Chartered Life Underwriter designation from the American College and a Masters Degree from Antioch University.
