Biography:

Everette James is an honors graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Duke Medical School, and the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. He taught at Harvard, Johns Hopkins, University College (London), and Vanderbilt. He served in South Vietnam (1965-66) as a physician. He has published over 500 articles and 20 books including: Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI), Digital Radiology, The Physical Basis of Medical Imaging, Real Time Ultrasound, Essays in Folk Art, and Tales of the Dismal Swamp. Dr. James and his wife, Dr. Nancy Farmer, live in Chapel Hill.
