As an only child, I spent my early years fascinated with ‘film noir’ and horror movies, with a fundamental need to replicate what I saw on screen. Although my writing, philosophizing, and painting began in high school, it did not truly evolve until I graduated and moved to Dallas, Texas, in 1995 to attend Southern Methodist University. Once I entered college, the works of Jung, Nietzsche, Kafka, and the Marquis De Sade further propelled my interests. With my creative energy, I focused on the fundamental need that began when I was young.
