Dr. Sweet has worked in the church for over 20 years. She has written many articles on education for numerous church publications and taught many workshops in the area of communication. She has earned degrees in New Testament Theology and Group Communication. She holds a M.Div. from Luther seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. She is married and is a mother and grandmother. She is presently the pastor of Saron Lutheran Church and lives in Colorado. She has often said, “It is important to study how we communicate so we can choose how to live.”
