June Buffington (King) is an award-winning writer whose more than ninety short stories, poems and feature articles have appeared in magazines, newspapers and literary journals nationwide. A psychiatric and critical care nurse for thirty years, she commenced a second career in writing at age fifty. She has taught fiction at Delaware County Community College and at the Philadelphia Writers’ Conference. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Poetry Society and the Delaware Valley Chapter of the Sisters in Crime. The mother of four daughters, she resides in Havertown, Pennsylvania with her husband
