Tyree Lockwood is a P.G County, Md native who has been recognized as a Poet of Merit by the International Poet's Society which consists of over 4.6 million poets. At only 22 years of age he was nominated as Poet of The Year by I.P.S in 2002. Also awarded the prestigious Editor's Coice Award by Poetry.com. Delivering a message of constant faith, hope, and knowledge through not only written but spoken word poetry. Founder of The New Age Poet's Society, Lockwood resides in Virginia, where he is President of N.A.P.S Entertainment.
