Born: Grafton, ND; moved to Cuba; lived on a cattle ranch, surviving the turbulent years of President Machado and Batistas’ rise; moved to Miami in 1934. Graduated high school; worked for Pan American Airways until moving to a ranch in Kalospell, MT. He graduated with chemistry degree from the U of MT.; a Federal Government employee, handling Mexican agricultural labor importation, he traveled frequently between Mexico and the US; In Illinois, wrote for several chemical/agricultural publications before operating their chemical plant. He retired to Florida 1988 resuming his love–writing. He completed “Nordic Odyssey” and “Lazarus, Bambini and Scholtz.”
