Ifeanyi Chijindu is a novelist, poetess, playwright and actress who has been writing for most of her life. She published her first poem in a newspaper at the age of eight; she finished her first novella at the age of twelve and sold her first short story at the age of fifteen. Ms. Chijindu entered her poetry in the NAACP ACT-SO Awards and won for her state of California before going on to compete nationally in 1996. Afterwards, at seventeen, Ms. Chijindu started performing her poetry in a variety of functions and has continued ever since. She currently resides with her family in Rancho Cucamonga, California.
