For sixty summers the author has traveled from her childhood home in Oklahoma City and then her adult home in Tulsa, Oklahoma to a romantic spot on a chain of lakes in west central Minnesota. She is a third generation to enjoy an “old cabin” located in Alexandria, Minnesota on Lake L’Homme Dieu. One of her greatest pleasures is watching her four beautiful adult daughters, their husbands and children playing at the lake. She is a student of the Bible and has spent decades both teaching and learning this ancient text.
