Biography:

Captain Nowers retired in 1973 after thirty years as a naval aviator. After retirement, he became a contractor, built homes in Northern Virginia and then was a volunteer builder for Habitat for Humanity in Orange County Virginia.

Captain Nowers became interested in the creation-evolution controversy in the 1980s and soon found the evidence for creation so overwhelming it led to his becoming a born-again Christian. He actively supported the creation belief through letters, teaching, making presentations, and in his earlier book, In The Beginning God…and the Six Day Creation.
