Biography:
Rabbi Harold Finkelstein Swiss celebrates his 27th year at the Little Synagogue in New York City in 2004. A graduate of the Yeshiva Youth Temple, he was ordained in 1965.
He has written over 2,000 sermons, 30 monologues and 13 plays, as well as four books: Scatter the Seed, Pale Flower, The Philosopher, and Out of Eldridge Street, the first of this series of autobiographical works.
Rabbi Swiss is a popular public speaker of religious subjects and the meaning of Judaism in a secular world.
He is married to Betty Swiss and lives in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, New York.
