Jose D. Fermin is the President of Laguna Bay Foundation, Inc. A magna cum laude, business-administration graduate of the University of the East, with a Masters in Business Administration from the University of the Philippines, he was a graduate-school instructor at De La Salle University, a certified public accountant, entrepreneur, a firm believer in life planning, and a “passionate” world traveler. He is the author of “Globe Trotting: A Travel Memoir,” the first travel book written with a global and Filipino perspective. He was born in the Philippines and has resided in New York City since 1973.
