The author is a retired elementary school teacher who graduated from the University of North Carolina with a degree in English and Education. She has a great love for literature and is an avid reader. She still spends time reading to classes of children as well as creating and telling stories for them. Putting her father’s memories in story form has been a very rewarding experience. Getting this book published has been a long time goal. She lives near Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband. They have four children and nine grandchildren.
