William Kelly has worked in the field of computers and the information sciences for fifteen years. He is a veteran of the United States Navy and also served as a volunteer firefighter for twenty-five years. He graduated from college ‘three times’, and holds degrees in the arts and sciences. He researched parts of this, his first novel, at the United States Space Camp and has also studied in the management and leadership program of the Hurricane Island Outward Bound School in Maine. He practices Okinawan Karate and is an enthusiastic outdoorsman, sailor, and amateur astronomer.
