Katherine Owens is the mother of three children and currently resides in Washington with her family. She is the award-winning author of several Editors’ Choice awards and a nominee for Best Poems and Poets in 2003, and 2004. Jim Welch is a veteran fire fighter of twenty years. Of all the people he has met, none have inspired his poetry more than his late wife, Jesse Welch. He currently resides in Washington, devoting his time to his grandchildren.
