Joyce Hall Williams, a Tennessean, now lives in Alabama. The daughter of an educator and his musician wife, she graduated from the University of Tennessee and married a returned WWII veteran. She has taught levels three through college, having earned a graduate degree at the University of Miami/University of North Alabama. With her husband and children, she has worked in three countries in Asia and in Africa, as well as in eastern Europe. Presently, she serves as volunteer church co-librarian and is involved in both the Head Start and adult literacy programs.
