Norma Moyer-Weldon is a fourth generation Kansan. She was born in Viola and educated in Wichita, Kansas. She moved to California after graduating from high school hoping to study choreography. Soon after arriving she met and married her husband, Harold Moyer. Together they started a successful restaurant business.

Following her mother’s example, Norma began to write. As a hobby she wrote for the area newspapers. Years later, after losing most of her family to death, she took up journalism once again. In a creative writing class, she met and married Colonel William C. Weldon, U.S.A.F. Retired. They live in Carlsbad, California and both enjoy their mutual hobby - writing!
