Stuart Guinn is an employment and business writing specialist from Oakland, California. While writing Bad Sports, the author spent a year and a half living in New Orleans and getting to know some of its most colorful characters in order to capture the nuances of the city’s unique dialect, the charm and grit of its neighborhoods, and the spirit of its people. He fell in love with the city’s eccentricities and nearly limitless ability to celebrate in the face of adversity, and has tried to capture just a dash of that N’awlins flavor in his first novel, Bad Sports.
