David Brooks lives with his 12 year-old son, Michael, in Eagan, Minnesota. David owns a small delivery company, where he contracts work for several local media companies. This is his first novel. However, he has two more, "Truth Be Told" and "As Fate Would Have It", that will be completed by the summer of 2000. Michael, who is attending Blackhawk Middle School, is also an aspiring young writer of fantasy.
