L.E. Phillips recently retired from public service with over twenty-five years of professional management experience in state and local government agencies. He now operates his own real estate development business and coaches youth sports in Montgomery, Alabama. Although this is his first foray into poetry, Mr. Phillips has written articles for various publications over the years. He and wife Teri have two children, and together they are past recipients of the "Family of the Year Award" sponsored by the Montgomery Area Family Guidance Center.
