Brought up under Hitler and having fought in WW II with the German Air Force, the writer faced a different kind of war in Canada, which his marriage did not survive. Great interest in the spiritual sciences opened the door to a brand-new life for the author, and writing became his big love. Although now advanced in years, hikes and swimming are on his daily agenda. Occasionally, he also rides his muscle-powered scooter, and helps school children design and build airplane models. He finds himself at home in his small house trailer.
