Barbara Lindquist was born in 1930. She has had a lifetime of wonderful experiences, more than most people certainly have. She has been a wife and mother of four children, a teacher, a public relations assistant director, a bookseller and a publisher. She is a writer, artist and illustrator, editor, musician, musical instrument builder, boat builder, sailor and scuba diver. She has written and published four books, three under her maiden name of B. L. Holmes. She has built 58 musical instruments. She has painted and sold more than 100 works and she has illustrated three books.
