Elizabeth Szewczyk has a Master’s degree in Education and is a college instructor in English and Reading. She is a recipient of the Connecticut Celebration of Excellence Award in writing and literature. When she isn’t writing, Elizabeth loves to decorate her home, read, and dabble in arts and crafts. A writer of poetry and prose, Mrs. Szewczyk wrote this book from a journal she kept while her son Daniel was being treated for cancer. It is her first memoir.
