The author is a practicing mechanical engineer with over 30 years experience in product development of various vehicles, machine tools, and related equipment. During the last decade he has studied and developed numerous military projects in an effort to bring them into the 21st century. He has a military background and a keen interest in American military history, planning, weaponry, and operational equipment for all services.

A simple comment by a friend caused him to investigate and research numerous sources for over twenty years to discover and connect the facts in preparing this historical novel.
