Biography:

Shirley Kalpin-Olson, mother of 5 children and many grandchildren, has been writing for many years. In 1998, she received Honorable Mention in a Writers’ Digest Contest, and in 2000, a Diploma from the Institute of Children’s Literature. After her first husband died, she remarried and resumed her writing career and now resides in Cambridge, Minnesota. She has since been published in Anthologies, local newspapers, and neighborhood newsletters. In 2005, she received Most Persistence Award from The American Christian Writers Group. Her fiction book, The Truth Shall Set You Free, was published in 2005.
