The author is a high school counselor who lives in Las Vegas, Nevada with her husband and son. She is a Dance Dance Revolution addict. Enjoys line-dancing and old-fashioned skating on four wheels. She is an avid reader. Enthusiastically throws herself into any mystery or love story on the television. Can sit in a theater through four movies in a row (paying for each of course). Her true passion is writing for teenagers. She loves to invite herself into the lives of young people, especially those who overcome life’s toughest obstacles. When she is not at school or chasing her son she is at the computer writing about the experiences she had as a young person or reflecting on the life of the young person who sat in her office that day.
