Vicki Lynn was born and raised in a small town. She has learned first hand how to recover from the abuses done to children and young girls. She currently lives in Farmington Hills, Michigan with her husband, three children and two dogs. Her hobbies, other than writing, are photography and karate. She is a Black Belt in karate at Farmington Martial Arts, in Farmington.

While this book is fiction, Vicki started writing this book as a form of therapy. She enjoyed the writing so much, that she expanded and continued until the story finished for her.
