Biography:

Fiction and nonfiction author, broadcaster, art critic, foreign correspondent, European Union spokesman, Russell Warren Howe was educated in Britain and France and has lived all over the world. He has been a Ford Fellow at Columbia University and a Guest Scholar at the Smithsonian Institution. His reporting has won four journalism awards and a Houston International Film Festival award for his political documentary, Coming of Age in Armageddon. False Flags was awarded the Southern Prize for Fiction. Howe’s investigative biography, Mata Hari: The True Story, is being made into a European film. Howe lives in Washington with his wife and their three dogs.
