Karen grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba, in a family of five children where she is the eldest of four girls. On vacations jammed packed in a ’63 Valiant, Karen would sit and create poems in the back seat of the car, staring out the window. Raised a Catholic, she now embraces a Universal understanding, making her home in the Canadian Rockies where she loves the healing waters, flowers, soaring eagles and mountains.
