Jonathan West grew up in a liberal American family. He attended university in Washington, D.C. during the turbulent Vietnam War era. There he witnessed the subversion of American democracy by leftist radicals, many of whom shared his own social and ethnic background. It was at this time he discovered that the democratic system of government (so long abused by the left) was itself, inherently flawed and largely responsible for the betrayal. In the 1980’s, the author first attempted to publish this work. It has taken almost twenty years for the truth to be heard.
