Judy A. Andres is the first-born of seven children in the Chapman family. She grew up in Pardeeville, Wisconsin, where she lived until graduating high school in 1969. She then attended two years at Grace Bible Institute in Omaha, Nebraska. She married John Andres in 1971, and they had two wonderful children, Jennifer Lyn and Daniel John. Her daughter died in a car accident in 1991, at the age of 18. Her son married Melissa Sue Bennett in 1999, and they have two children, Benjamin Isaac and Lillian Jennifer, which are the loves and lights of their grandma’s life.
