Phil Watlington, a senior manager at the General Electric Company, leads the financial operations of a global Control Systems business. In recent years his focus has been on competitive growth strategies and doing business globally. Mr. Watlington holds an MBA Degree in Finance and Managerial Accounting from the University of Missouri and, as time allows, also teaches these subjects. Phil is a 20 year member of Financial Executives International and is an inaugural recipient of the Certificate in Director Education from the National Association of Corporate Directors, Washington D.C. Mr. Watlington is also a published author. His books include: The World is at Your Door (2006) and The Rise of Powerful, Influential, and Caring Women (2009).
