The author lived the early years of her life in West Africa and has experience some of the difficulties life has to offer us all and writing these poems were her way out. Some of the poems were inspired because of the civil war she experienced in Africa. It kept her motivated and made her look at the world from a distance with an opened mind. She has published two poems in the International Library of Poetry.
