Biography:
A dedicated writer, who through the years of many struggles that hindered and discouraged, she refused to give up. She is a songwriter, poet and novelist. Among her many poems she likes are The Masters Will; The Sparrow Flew Away; Ode to Diana; and Alabama, You’re the Greatest; which are personalized dedications and have received much recognition. She has a previously published book, Time Changes Everything. She says, “I can speak to the world with the point of my pen and to the earth’s far corners, or those within.” Being a paper artisan, she has many items made from notebook paper, such as shoes, hats, baskets and bags. She is a native of Jacksonville, AL, but has lived in Decatur for many years.
