Medford, New York
Biography:

Nowadays, there really is a William of Suffolk. The reference is to the eastern-most county on Long Island in the State of New York, USA. After working thirty-two years for that county’s Government, the author retired and assumed his literary identity.

In addition to feeding his obsession with history and prehistory, William of Suffolk counts birds for Cornell University’s Laboratory of Ornithology’s Project Feeder Watch, plays something resembling golf, and enjoys a wager on animals that run around in circles.
