Dr. Gene A.Grant was born in Springfield, Illinois on February 6, 1937. After high school, he attended seminary and was ordained as a Pastor in 1958, during his junior year. He pursued graduate studies in Atlanta, Georgia, Lincoln, Illinois, Cincinnati, Ohio and Santa Ana, California, achieving a Ph. D. in 1987. In 1956, he married Florence Guy, and their son, Gene II, was born in 1965. Dr. Grant has held pastorates in Illinois, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky and Ohio, and also worked for 25 years in education. He is presently Pastor/Counselor with the Heritage Community Church, Cincinnati, Ohio and works as a Licensed Professional Counselor with a private counseling agency.
