Biography:
Like many other caregivers, Dr. Woodson juggled her career, marriage and children while she cared for a parent with Alzheimer’s disease. She taught geriatric medicine for ten years before developing a medical practice that serves older adults, people who take care of older adults, and people who want to live to be older adults by aging gracefully. Dr. Woodson is a tireless advocate for seniors and their families. She teaches and consults about eldercare around the country and she served on the 2005 White House Council on Aging. Dr. Woodson has also earned a second-degree black belt in Taekwondo.
