The author, a humanitarian at heart, is a Christian Counselor, who lives in Stone Mountain, Georgia, has a great concern for the welfare of displaced single parents and children. A single parent herself, with three biological children and one grandchild enjoys working with youth and young adults as a mentor. She spends a great deal of her time coordinating special events for schools and churches, visiting shelters and serving as a foster parent. Each morning she rises before her household to have some quiet time with her Creator before starting her day.
