The author, Harriet Ramseur, Hearl is from Conway, S.C. In her spare time, she enjoys various decorating jobs and journaling. Ms. Hearl is involved in Salkehatchie Summer Camp, a program through her church, where several teens and adults work together in groups to do roofing and make other repairs to homes within the community and in other parts of S.C.

Other interests include listening to all kinds of music, hiking and camping. Her published writings include The Music Row Murders. Besides writing mysteries she is also getting ready to publish a children’s book, The Adventures of Fluffy the Feral Feline. Be on the look-out for the next Catherine Grate Sequel to be out late 2007.
