J. Louis Frey, known as Jim to his friends, has been a racing fan for over 35 years and continues to attend races. He collects racing books, magazines, and programs. He officiates multiple college and high school sports. He works for a major chocolate manufacturer in Hershey, PA.

He resides in Elizabethtown, PA with wife, Gail. They have two children: Sarah, a college student, and David, a mechanic.
