Biography:

Al Karasa is a lifelong sailor and "river rat" who writes only about stuff of which he knows first hand through enthusiastic participation, no matter how unwise. His stories and essays have appeared in national magazines on subjects as diverse as sailing, history, sports cars, war gaming, and the heraldic arts.

He is the author of five other books in addition to those published by Infinity.
