Dave Lambert’s roots are mid-Atlantic. Born in Philadelphia, he has lived in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. He has worked as an Army officer, advertising copywriter, math teacher, technical writer, and sold ads for the Yellow Pages. He enjoyed vacations at the Jersey Shore. When the camping bug bit him, he camped for 35 consecutive years, logging 150 trips under canvas and in small travel trailers. Since he can’t predict when humor will strike, he always carries pen and paper to write it down before he forgets it. Remember … a car with a joke book is a happy car.
