The author is a lover of life and education who lives in Santa (Paradise) Barbara. She discovered her calling to be a teacher at the age of fifteen when she experienced a teacher and class that were “life-changing!” As a result, she has been teaching high school English since 1993. For twelve years she was the head varsity softball coach as well. Her other passions are writing, reading, triathlons, all ball sports, and of course her charming husband, Billy Anthony, and beautiful daughter, Gianna Marie.
