The author was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts to Canadian parents and was raised in a little village in Nova Scotia, Canada where her father grew up. There she spent her childhood. In her young adult years, she married, divorced, remarried and raised three children. She has traveled extensively throughout Canada, the United States and Europe. She has worked for many years in the real estate business, becoming a real estate broker and opening her own successful real estate company in Galt, California, where she resides with her husband. She also writes poetry and country western music.
