Biography:
Jack Wells enlisted in the Navy in 1960. He was commissioned Ensign, USN in 1966, and served aboard destroyers, intelligence ships, and mine sweepers during the Vietnam War. He holds the Vietnam Service Medal with 5 campaign stars in addition to multiple other decorations. After 10 years service, he left active duty at the end of 1970 as a Lieutenant. A qualified Surface Warfare Officer, he progressed to Commander in the Reserve Component and retired in 1983. He also retired as the Technical Director for a major consumer products company and lives with his wife Terry in Florida.
