Born in Long Beach, Eric Swan grew up in the San Fernando Valley. A musician and songwriter, Swan played in a number of bands between 1986 and 2001. In 1995, he attended Quality Business Institute, studying telecommunication repair. Soon after, he started his own telecommunication business in Southern California, where he continues to live. Swan began creating Whores of Abaddon in 2005. First in a planned series of books about the adventures of the Grim Reaper's special assassins, Ripened Fate is Swan's first published novel and first published work. Swan has already begun writing the next installation in 2007.
