Arseny James Melnick is a 1977 graduate of Harvard University’s Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, where he also attended various classes at Harvard Law and Business Schools. After several years at the Pentagon as a Russian affairs analyst, Melnick joined the private sector and is a recognized expert in security intelligence related to computer security, cited in such publications as the New York Times. A weekly report he manages was cited by Business Week in 2005 as providing “some of the most incisive analysis in the business.” He is also president of a non-profit corporation in Virginia.
