Dr. Bob Kahrs received DVM and PhD degrees from Cornell University. He served on faculties at Cornell, the University of Florida, and the University of Missouri, and later negotiated trade agreements for the USDA. He has written over 100 scientific papers. He is the author of “Viral Diseases of Cattle,” Iowa State University Press (2001) and “Global Livestock Health Policy,” Blackwell Publishing (2003). Throughout his career, he struggled to achieve writing excellence. “Mastering Scientific Writing,” Infinity Publishing (2008), and this book emerged from his wish to help others overcome similar writing challenges.
